Beauty Advisors are the face of Sephora to our devoted customers. Knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic, our Beauty Advisors provide a unique experience to our customers that embodies the 'Sephora DNA'.
We pride ourselves on the energy and beauty of our environment, the wide assortment of products, and the ease for customers of finding and trying our products. We provide all our staff with rigorous training and clear SOPs to ensure that they are set up for success. With the store as a backdrop, you will be empowered to inspire our customers to shop with us, learn with us, and experience 'beauty' with us.
Sephora rewards you for your hard work and dedication. Your performance is evaluated against a set of clear metrics, including store enviornment, customer feedback, and sales performance.
As a Beauty Advisor, you will have opportunities for growth and promotion opportunities; both within the Store (Supervisor / Manager positions) or within other functions such as Retail Operations, Customer Experience, and Artistry Training. Sephora is the gateway and stepping stone to the career you want!
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Customer Service
• Build and nurture a strong relationship with loyal customers through knowledge sharing, positive attitude, and excellent customer service
• Advocate for Beauty Pass (our loyalty programme) to every customer; ensuring that they benefit from the exclusive offers and rewards
• Share with customers our online portfolio and App; so that customers are able to find their items online as well
• Represent Sephora with a professional demeanour - uniforms and makeup standards are required!
• Meet sales targets by understanding customers' needs, providing expert knowledge in categories such as makeup, skincare, and fragrance
Knowledge Development
• Sephora Beauty Advisors are seen as trustworthy advisors by our customers.
• Training and self-development opportunities will be provided to build your knowledge so that you can provide expert advise to our customers not just on product pricing or in-store promotions; you will get to showcase product selection, suitability, and efficacy.
Store Maintenance & Operations
• Operate the cashier tills in a professional, timely manner, and with highest level of respect to all customers
• Be familiar with and follow the loyalty policies; such as customer Birthday / Welcome Gift redemption
• Help restock shelves, cleaning of fixtures, and check products are in good selling condition
• Participate in the inventory process to minimize shrinkage and ensure accuracy of stock managemnet; help to keep the stockroom in order
Requirements
• Good communication skills
• Keen interest in Beauty/Retail industry
