JOB SUMMARY
The Pricing and Performance Analyst is primarily responsible for managing global, regional RFQ and bid data files, for creating and managing pricing files and systems to gain visibility in bid rates vs actual costs.
Duties & Functions
Essential:
• Manage assigned RFQ pricing files by requested deadline for NNR Singapore and regional accounts controlled by NNR Singapore
• Gather all rates and pricing information as directed from local, regional and global offices.
• Build a central pricing system for easier reference both locally and overseas
• Update master pricing files, assure accuracy and completeness
• Format all required files into the requested format
• Create macros as needed
• Administrator Upload RFQ rates to pricing system
• Closely monitor the RFQ pipeline - control the timeline for RFQ preparation-rates consolidation-RFQ status update
• Provide support to Account Managers and Senior Management if requested
• Work with IT on creating systems to manage and track profit share, run specific GA reports, and compare bid pricing with actual costs
• Generate and understand trends through available reports and advise on decisions to be made by management to key regional and global accounts
• Work within region to collaborate, enhance, and streamline current pricing / RFQ processes in order to maximize competitiveness and efficiency
• Work on other high-level projects as directed

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education & Experience:
• Employee should have university degree or applicable diplomas, with 2-4 years experience in the forwarding/logistics industry
• Employee must have a good knowledge of customer service techniques
• Employee must have the ability to use basic math skills to calculate freight, storage, duty and other charges
• Employee must have in-depth computer knowledge to include Microsoft office applications such as excel, power point, Word, access
• Knowledge to use Excel VBA is an advantage
• Knowledge of pricing elements for Air & Ocean quotations
Physical requirements:
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Employee should be preferred to have a valid driver’s license
