Job Responsibilities

To support Distribution Manager to drive continuous process improvement activities on warehouse operations and space optimization to meet additional storage requirement
Get involve in daily Gemba Walk , 5S program and Just Do It activities
Support productivities saving project implementation
Participate in Practical Process Improvement Kaizen project, learn 8 step problem solving method to resolve issue
To establish training material for warehouse department
Help on inventory control and reduction of inventory, support on cycle count activities
Support Monthly KPI reporting
Support Daily Management Board set up
To support Standard Operation Procedure and Work Instruction documentation
Support productivity saving initiative
How will you get here?

Education

Currently pursuing Degree in Material Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Logistics or related discipline
Experience

Work with team of material handlers
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Microsoft words, Excel and Power Point
Able to work in warehouse environment
Learning outcome

Understanding of warehousing inbound and outbound process flow
Opportunity to learn ERP system SAP
Understanding of Quality Management System with involvement in WIN and SOP review and audit preparation
Learn 8 step problem solving method for process improvement
